Kaas Plateau - Valley of Flowers of Maharashtra:

The Kaas plateau is known to be home to around 850 varieties of plants of which around 600 are flowering plants. Valley of Flowers at Kaas Plateau has recently gained the reputation of being part of the Biodiversity World Heritage by UNESCO. Explore carpets and carpets of flowers await us at Valley of Flowers. Valley of flowers in Maharashtra is a place where hundreds of varieties of wild flowers of all colours bloom in Mid-August – Sept end. In monsoon the whole area transforms into an unbelievable carpets of flowers like yellow carpets of Smithia and Sonki flowers, pink carpets of Balsam. These carpets change colours almost every week depending on the dominant flowers during that time.

Cyathium: Inflorescence Of The Euphorbiaceae Family- One of the largest genera of flowering plants is  Euphorbia  with approximately 2,000 species.
